Collection of your Personal Information
The Fenland Running Club (FRC) website automatically collects information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by FRC for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the FRC website.
FRC has a presence on social media (for example, Facebook), please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through these channels it is not within the control of FRC and may be collected and used by others. You should familiarise yourself with the relevant social media websites’ privacy policies.
FRC is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on web sites outside of the FRC and FRC family of websites.
If you choose to become a member of the club, FRC collects personally identifiable information, including your e-mail address, name, telephone number(s), gender, and date of birth. When you purchase membership we ask you to tick a box which indicates that you have read and agree to this privacy policy and additional statements at the point of sale.
Use of your Personal Information
FRC collects and uses your personal information in order to maintain an accurate database of members and to organise events and the general business of a running club. We will publish certain information such as race, or time-trial, results but this will be limited to Name, Time, and Age Graded percentage. In many cases this is derived from existing publicly accessible information.

FRC does not sell, rent or lease its membership data to third parties.
FRC may share data with trusted partners to help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to FRC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
FRC websites will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FRC or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of FRC; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of FRC, or the public.

You have the right to erasure, this right allows you to request the deletion or removal of personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing. You have the right to data portability, this right allows you to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes.

Security of your Personal Information
FRC secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. FRC uses three main processing systems: this website, the UKA portal, and Google Sheets. These are controlled, secure environments, protected from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. Users of data are briefed on their responsibilities and how they are permitted to use your data.
When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
